Spicy Teryaki Kebabs

This yummy kebab recipe is great with pork or beef chunks. It is sweet-salty with a hint of heat. Very easy and great on the BBQ!

Spicy Teryaki PORK-KEBAB

 

1 lb. boneless Roadapple Ranch shish kebab pork pieces
¼ c Roadapple Ranch honey
¼ c soy sauce

¼ tsp onion powder (or 1 small onion, minced)

2 cloves of garlic, chopped (or 1 tsp Roadapple Ranch minced garlic)

¼ c balsamic vinegar

¼ c olive oil

¼ tsp ground black pepper

¼ tsp red pepper flakes

8 bamboo skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes

 

Combine all marinade items and whisk together until the honey has dissolved and melded with the soy sauce.  Toss in the Roadapple Ranch pork pieces (can be slightly frozen) until well coated with the marinade.  Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours (overnight is best if possible).

Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat, then turn to low (hood temperature approximately 300F).

Thread the pork onto the soaked skewers, pushing the meat pieces close together.  Cook on the preheated grill until the porke is no longer pink in the centre – approximately 5 minutes per side (I usually turn ¼ turn at 3-5 minute intervals).

Serve with your favourite rice and fresh tomatoes and garden greens.  Serves 4.
